When Franchise Owners join the Primrose family, they make a valuable investment that goes beyond the financial. They invest their time, passion and a large part of themselves into their local communities. It’s what sets being a Primrose Schools Franchise Owner apart – the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of friends, neighbors and the next generation of leaders.
As the VP of Franchising at Primrose, I have the pleasure of getting to know our Franchise Owners and the communities we serve pretty well, especially in areas where we are growing, like Chicago. In fact, spending time in new markets and getting to know community leaders and influencers is one of my favorite parts of this job.
The Primrose Franchise Team has been on what we call a “Community Outreach Tour” in the Windy City, visiting Rotary clubs and civic organizations in different neighborhoods throughout the city, sharing the Primrose story along the way. I’ve been delighted by the welcoming environment our team has encountered so far in Elgin, Palatine, Bloomingdale-Roselle and Glendale Heights.
When I spoke to the Rotary Club of Palatine about the value of relationship building, we enjoyed a pancake breakfast at a local diner. The room buzzed with excitement and energy, even before the maple syrup sugar rush set in. Upon entering, I could sense the passion held by each Rotarian – it was obvious that they truly care about serving their community and collaborating with business leaders about how to make a real impact.
The experience left me humbled by the collective sense of purpose and altruism shared by all of us in the room. It reminded me of how we at Primrose approach each day and each community we serve. Primrose leadership, Franchise Owners and Support Team staff are all connected by our unique desire to make a difference and our passion for what we do. These traits are intrinsic to Primrose Schools as a company, and I have seen them in the many different people I’ve met in Chicago.
If you are in the Chicago area, I hope you will come out to see us this fall as we continue our Community Outreach Tour to visit community leaders in Schaumburg, Naperville, Long Grove and Bloomingdale-Roselle once more.
Additionally, I’m looking forward to meeting even more passionate, community-minded individuals and spreading the word about Primrose in California next month at the West Coast Franchise Expo. I’ll be speaking on a panel along with Franchise Owner Nick Kurji, Primrose School of Pleasanton, during the Expo on “The Franchisor-Franchisee Relationship: Striking the Perfect Balance.” If you’re in the Anaheim area on November 13, we hope you can attend to hear more about the relationship investment we make with our Franchise Owners. Also, stay tuned for more information about our growing markets and continue to check out our page on LinkedIn for the latest updates to mark your calendars for these upcoming events!
