Size:

  • Minimum 40,000 usable square feet of available land for ground up construction
  • Traditional Building: 12,000+/- square feet of available space
  • Converted Building: 8000 - 15,000 square feet of available space
  • Outdoor Playground Area: Minimum 6,000 square-feet

Parking:

  • As required by code

Access:

  • Safe and convenient access

Demographics:

  • Location: Middle-to-upper income residential area
  • Children: 2,000 within a three-mile radius, ages 0-4
Urban School Site Criteria:

Size:

  • 8,000-15,000 square feet of available space on first floor above grade or second floor

Parking:

  • Adequate staff parking and nearby drop-off and pick-up zone

Access:

  • Direct access to a minimum of 5,000 square feet of flat outdoor space for a secure playground area and building or monument signage

Demographics:

  • Location: Nearby large office complex, university, hospital or mixed-use development or middle-to-upper income residential area
  • Children: 1,500 within a two-mile radius, ages 0-4
